I am a landscape designer and writer, currently working at terrain nyc. I received a BA in Art/Semiotics from Brown University in 1999, focusing on architecture, urban life and cultural theory, including study at the AA School of Architecture in London and RISD. After undergraduate I was the Curatorial Associate at Artists Space, one of New York’s oldest not-for-profit galleries.

I received a Masters of Landscape Architecture from PennDesign in 2006 and have since worked at several leading landscape architecture firms including Hargreaves Associates, West 8, Mathews Nielsen, and Terrain. I was a contributor to the Hargreaves Associates monograph, Landscape Alchemy and I am also published in Topos. I am founder and editor of topophilia.org, an online journal of landscape architecture and related fields.

I live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband and son.
